B. — INFORMAT. Chaîne de quatre éléments binaires, équivalente à un demi octet. On peut décomposer 32 en 3 pour les dizaines (et 3 se code 0011 sur un quartet) et 2 pour les unités (ce qui se code 0010 sur un quartet), puis réunir ces deux quartets afin de reconstituer le sacro-saint octet (H. LILEN, L'Ordinateur personnel en 15 leçons, Paris, éd. Radio, 1980, p. 88).
